2018 HISTORY Summer CAMPS AT THE OLD GOVERNOR'S MANSION
Campers' curiosity will be piqued and inquisitive minds will uncover the history and culture of Louisiana through unique, fun-filled, week-long summer camps at the Old Governor's Mansion.
Bring the Past to Life!
(June 18-22; ages 7-12)
Campers will hear the colorful stories of the Louisiana Old Governor's Mansion and learn about Louisiana's pivotal role in national historic events as they participate in games, music, and crafts that explore a different decade each day.
Protect and Preserve History!
(July 16-20; ages 7-12)
Campers will discover Louisiana's rich history, architecture, and culture and learn about the field of historic preservation and rehabilitation through stories, tours of downtown Baton Rouge, and hands-on learning.
Camps run from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm each day.
Preserve Louisiana member: $140/week; non-member: $180/week.
Camp cost includes snacks, but participants will need to bring a lunch.
